West London · Half-day afternoon

Hyde Park to Notting Hill

An off-lead run, a wander through one of London's most iconic neighbourhoods, and dinner at a Bronze-rated dog-friendly restaurant.

Hyde Park to Notting Hill itinerary

Stop 01

Hyde Park — off-lead area

Start with an off-lead run along the Long Water. The Diana Memorial Fountain area has a large off-lead section — one of the most generous in central London. Go early to beat the crowds.

Stop 02

Serpentine Bar & Kitchen — lunch

Dogs are welcome on the terrace. Good for a relaxed lunch with views over the Serpentine. Nothing fancy — but the setting does the work.

Stop 03

Portobello Road — afternoon wander

Head north into Notting Hill. Portobello Road on a weekend is busy, so keep your dog close — but the market stalls and side streets are worth it. Plenty of cafés with outside space along the way.

Stop 04

Los Mochis — dinner

A Mexican-Japanese restaurant that welcomes dogs. Rated Bronze on the Golden Paw Scale — dogs are welcome, terrace available. Book ahead, especially on weekends.
